Portland Works Heritage Open Day 2019

Portland Works will be opening its doors on Sunday 15 September from noon to 5pm as part of the national Heritage Open Day event.
Visitors will be able to see the inside of our Grade 2* listed building. It is a great opportunity to view the progress of restoration and repair completed over the last 6 years. Some tenant makers will be open for tours.
Sheffield has the 3rd largest events calendar in the country for the Heritage Open Day so we’re expecting it to be a great event. The official Sheffield launch took place here at Portland Works on 23 July, arranged by the Sheffield Civic Trust who recruit and coordinate the brochure of local events. To date they have gathered over 140 different groups that are prepared to open. The launch was attended by both the Lord Mayor of Sheffield and by Sarah Holloway from the National Trust who run the open days nationally.
This launch celebrated 25 years of Heritage Open Days so we hope that you can attend.
