Sheffield Hackspace

Sheffield Hackspace (Sheffield Hardware Hackers and Makers CIC) is a non-profit, member-run hackspace for the city of Sheffield and the surrounding areas. Over the last couple of years we have created communal workshops and a community who share skills and help each other with projects and ideas including, but not limited to: electronics (including Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP8266), LoRAWAN, 3D printing and CAD, textiles (including wearable electronics), robotics, woodwork and metalwork, arts and crafts, gaming, photography and use of the Internet of Things (IoT).

Ultimately, we are member led. Some of the projects get highlighted on our website, but there’s no substitute for coming along to meet the group. We’re always keen for people with a wide range of interests and skill levels to join, swap ideas, learn from each other, and build new things.

If you’re interested, drop us an email at trustees@sheffieldhackspace.org.uk or see our calendar on the website and come along to one of our open sessions to see what we’re about.
