In The News

The upcoming theatre season at Portland Works in collabaration with Only Lucky Dogs was featured in the Sheffield Telegraph today. The article praised the content and optimism of the plans and outlined each of the performers.

“Theatre company Only Lucky Dogs are making use of the beautiful Maker Space at Portland Works on Randall Street, Highfield to present a series of shows in April, featuring musicians, dancers, improvisers and brand new drama.

The line-up includes Sheffield-based Dear Hunter Theatre, with a new show about conspiracy theories called The Dots, and LGBT+ artists’ collective Sounds Queer, known for their open mic nights at the Cellar Theatre in the city centre. It also features folk songwriter and twice-winner in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards Rowan Rheingans, whose one-woman show centres on the heartbreaking story of her grandmother’s life in 1940s Germany.”
