Portland Works Board of Directors
Portland Works is led by a board of up to 12 elected directors that assumes full responsibility for the affairs of the organisation. They are supported by a salaried manager and more than 25 volunteers who take on a wide range of tasks from administration and events planning, to hands-on renovation work.
All directors are unpaid for their board duties and come from a wide range of backgrounds. On the current board, two are tenants and provide valuable insight into life at Portland Works. Others are highly qualified specialists in important areas such as finance or communication. Directors are elected at the AGM and normally have a 3 year term.
