Robert Mosley Revealed

When she was researching the story of Robert Mosley a couple of years ago, Anna de Lange was hugely disappointed that she couldn’t find a photograph or a portrait of him. Through a long chain of circumstances, that has been remedied! Anna has been put in touch with one of his descendants and now has a lovely picture of Robert Fead Mosley in his garden at Croft House with his dog.

It was probably taken in about 1913, and so shows him at about the same time as the Works was trying to make stainless steel knives. We discover too that his surname (and therefore the name of the company) was pronounced ‘Mozzley’, a change to get our heads and tongues round! Thanks to Annette Gunther for allowing us to have and use the photograph.
