New “Saving Portland Works” film launch attracts dignitaries and media

This week, we launched a new documentary film called “Saving Portland Works” that tells the story of how our iconic building was rescued from development. The film features interviews with some of the people at the heart of the campaign who share the steps, challenges and outcomes from a decade of work. Additionally the overhead drone footage of the Works gives a view that very few have seen.

The launch event saw a number of dignitaries and media representatives attending as guests including Cllr Gail Smith, the Lord Mayor of Sheffield. It also received considerable  exposure in newspapers and in a 10 minute long BBC Sheffield interview with chair, Dr Chris Corker.

We’d like to thank everyone involved in the production and hope that you enjoy watching it by clicking the video above.
